ウェスティンホテル東京はホテルの立地、サービスやベッド等の設備が良いというのはもちろん優れたポイント（新東京御三家ですからね）ですが、さらに、当日空きがあれば、現地で8,000円程度を支払うことでクラブラウンジ付きの部屋に有償アップグレードできる点もマリオットボンヴォイ会員にポイント宿泊で利用されている理由かと思いました。1万円以下の追加費用でクラブラウンジへのアクセス権付きの部屋にアップグレードできるホテルはなかなかありませんからね。

我が家はSPGアメックスカードの無料宿泊特典でウェスティンホテル東京に宿泊しましたが、残念ながら有償アップグレードはできませんでした。。。
